The Souths Rugby Union Community is saddened by the passing of the Des Johnstone, father of Magpies Brett and Scott. 

Des passed away peacefully on Saturday, 2nd February 2013, aged 66 years.

Our condolences go to Brett and Scott, and their family and friends at this difficult time.

A Celebration of Des's Life will be held at the Stella Maris Catholic Church, 37 Baden Street, Maroochydore on Friday 8th February 2013 at 10.30a.m., followed by interment at Kulangoor Cemetery, 31 - 89 Ackerman Rd, Kulangoor.

The Souths Junior Rugby Union sign-on days are here again.  Make your way to the Souths Junior grounds at Shaftesbury Street, Annerley, to sign up new and returning players, get your Souths playing strip and pay annual playing fees.

Dear Members,

It is that time of year again where we prepare for the Annual General Meeting.

You are invited to attend to witness how your Club has performed over the past year.

This year the AGM will be held in the Clubhouse at 6:30 pm on Thursday, 22nd November 2012.

If you would like to nominate for any of the various positions, please fill out the nomination Form in the AGM Notice and send it to the Club’s postal address prior to 15th November 2012.

You must be a fully financial voting member of the Club to nominate, propose or second the motion.
