Its likely to be a tough encounter when Souths' Pegg Cup side take on last years Cup winners, the Beenliegh Bears at the Nest on Saturday afternoon.

The winless Normanby Cup side will be looking to improve on last Friday's defeat at the hands of the Filth when they host the Easts Longhorns at the Nest.

Round One vs Sunnybank - Chipsy Wood Oval
The Premier Rugby competition games which were abandoned last Saturday will be held at Chipsy Wood on Tuesday night.
So get up to the Nest and cheer on your Magpies when they take on the Sunnybank Dragons in the Queensland Premier Rugby season opener.
BBQ and Canteen will be open.
Game times are as follows:
- 6:30pm Premier Colts
- 8:00pm Premier Grade

Round Two vs GPS- Yoku Rd, Ashgrove
After last weekends matches at the Nest were washed out, Souths Magpies will cross the river to Yoku Road at Ashgrove to take on GPS in Round Two of the Queensland Premier Rugby competition.
GPS will be looking to emulate their opening round win over Norths (28-17), while our boys with little rest from their midweek victory over Sunnybank, willl be keen to show one of this year's Premiership favourites that Tuesday night was no fluke.

With only five teams in this competition and no re-draw, Souths' Normanby Cup boys will actually play this week, hosting the Wests Bulldogs at The Nest. If you're allergic to the northside, take this early opportunity to cheer on the Magpies this weekend.

Heavy overnight rains have left our fields unplayable and this weekend's matches (and Ladies Day) have been abandoned.
Games will be rescheduled for the Bye weekend on 14th July.
