Vale Duane "Shortman" Wilkin

The funeral for our late member, Duane Wilkin will be held on Friday 22nd January, at 10am in Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Ipswich Road, Annerley. A burial service will then be held at Hemmant Cemetary. Barry and Lyn Wilkin invite the Souths Rugby community and all of Duane's family and friends, to join them at Souths Rugby Club following the service. Souths Executive Management Committee Duane "Shortman" Wilkin The Souths Rugby community today mourns the loss of one of its members, with the sudden passing of Duane "Shortman" Wilkin. Duane has been a Magpie since the under 7's and through the '80s he was a most valuable Colt and Grades player. Duane was small of stature but a fierce competitor and he carried that determination for success into his family business and into coaching and administration at Souths. To Lyn and Barry Wilkin and all of Duane's family and friends, we at Souths extend our deepest condolences and sympathy. Souths Executive Management Committee Pre-Season Training Pre-season training for 2010 is in full swing on Tuesday and Thursday nights at Chipsy Wood Oval, Frederick Street, Annerley (in Yeronga Park) @ 6pm. All New Players (Seniors and Colts) and returning players most welcome. A series of three trial games will be played this year through March; 13th March v University @ Souths; 20th March v Easts at Easts and 27th March v Brothers at Souths.
