PLEASE NOTE: U6-U18 Juniors, Colts, Junior Girls, Women, Colts & Grades registrations are online through Rugby Xplorer.
All Souths Rugby 2025 online Registrations will be open from January 2025 through the Rugby Xplorer App available via the App Store or Google Play.
Fair Play Vouchers
Before Registering, please consider if you are going to use a FairPlay Voucher issued by the Queensland Government. Details below on how to apply for a voucher.
Parents, carers or guardians can apply for a voucher up to $200 (GST inclusive) for their child aged from 5 to 17 (inclusive) to be used towards registration fees. Click below for more details.

Vouchers (a pdf document issued to you) must be presented to Souths Rugby Club via email to info@southsrugby.com or dafyddg@hotmail.com or at Souths Seniors on Friday nights. You will then be issued a discount code to use when registering (steps below).
TO REGISTER
To register for 2025 you must use the Rugby Xplorer app.
The app is available for download via the Apple Store or Google Play or you can access it via the web at https://myaccount.rugby.com.au/
All participants can then sign up/login and activate your Rugby Account to allow registrations.
Once you Download or upgrade the App, or access via the web
Sign-Up/Login using your email and password
Login and click ‘Register’ in the left hand side menu
Under the heading PLAY RUGBY Click ‘Find a Club’
When asked ‘Who would you like to register?’ click on the correct identity to be registered. (Please note each player will need to be registered separately).
For new players click ‘Link a new person’ (you will need to scroll off the bottom of the screen if you have multiple people in your profile)
When asked ‘Which Club you would like to register to?’ start typing in Souths Rugby Union Club (Juniors) and it will appear at the top of the list of options to select.
Once you have selected Souths Rugby Union Club (Juniors) you will need to select the following
SELECTING THE RIGHT ROLE:
If your child is planning to play a full season of games then select PLAYER
If your child is having a try out before committing, then select TRAINING ONLY PARTICIPANT
If your child is participating in MRP then select MODIFIED RUGBY PARTICIPANT
If you are registering as a VOLUNTEER or a COACH then select those options
SELECTING THE RIGHT REGISTRATION TYPE:
The age level your child will be registering as refers to the age they will turn in 2025 (eg turns 7 in May 2025, will be U7). If your child is intending to play in a different age group, this will be sorted out later with the age coordinators.
U4-U5 Players Select "GiR Walla" - formerly Mini Magpies
U6-U7 Players Select "GiR TriTime" - formerly XVs Juniors
U8-U16 Players Select “XVs Juniors”
U17-U18 Players Select “XVs Junior Colts”
Modified Rugby Participants Select “All Abilities Rugby Program”
SELECTING THE RIGHT DURATION:
Almost all people will select SEASON at this point (other options should be discussed with registrar)
After making the above selections and hitting next you should get a message saying Great News Registrations are Open
Now work your way through the next steps
Next update any personal details if necessary
Upload or change your profile picture OR leave and click ‘skip’
Update or fill in any additional details if necessary
Update or fill in any emergency contact details if necessary
If you have a Blue Card complete the details or click ‘no’
If you have a discount code (Fair Play Voucher or other) you can enter this before paying.
Tick the box beside ‘I have read and agree to the National terms and conditions’
Pay registration when prompted.
If wanting to register another player, when asked ‘Would you like to add another registration’ then click ‘Next player to be registered’ and repeat the process
Any problems with the above, there will be club representatives available on Friday nights in the clubhouse to assist or you can call Dafydd Griffiths (Junior Registrar) on 0417 730 800 for assistance.
